Projects

We perform both residential and commercial renovations. In the last 16 months we have started and completed renovations of 26 bathrooms and 14 kitchens as well as numerous other projects. Below are some representative samples of the variety of projects completed - September 2006 – March 2008.

Residential

• Renovated the entire interior of a home in St. Joseph – new master bath and hall bath, new kitchen, new tile floors, new laundry room, re-worked duct work, sanded and refinished hardwood floors, new doors throughout, new casing and base trim, re-worked HVAC, structural repairs, painted


• Renovated the entire interior of a home on the golf course in Mahomet – removed carpeting, ceramic tile and oak floors and installed new lyptus hardwood floors and new ceramic tile, rebuilt staircase all with lyptus, removed walls and related structural work to create a new open floor plan, stripped wallpaper, refinished all walls and ceilings, new guest bath, renovated kitchen, all new casing and base trim


• Interior renovations in a home in Maynard Lake in Champaign – new front entry door, removed dining room hardwood and install new oak floor with cherry boarder, refinished hardwood floors in several other rooms, repaired a structural defect from an earlier remodel by another firm, scraped texture off of ceilings in most rooms, repaired walls and ceiling and painted throughout, remodeled two bathrooms


• Finished basement in home in Cherry Hills subdivision in Champaign creating a children’s play area and home theatre room


• Solar Room renovation just off Duncan Road Champaign – removed 1970’s solar room, redesigned and installed new passive solar collector –and installed ceramic tile in bathroom and kitchen


• In a home on Carle Park in Urbana - Master bath renovation and front foyer rework


• Replaced all of the interior doors and baseboards, replaced windows and renovated the kitchen in a home near Robeson School in Champaign


• Classic arts and crafts home on Park Street in Champaign – renovated half bath and full bath, reworked downstairs floor plan, relocated several original doors


• State streets area in Urbana – renovated second floor bath


• Renovated bare warehouse space into two bedroom two and a half bath condominium at 519 N. Hickory
  in Uptown On Columbia Condos in Champaign


• Remodeled two full baths, changed out all of the interior doors and all of the interior trim in a home in central west Champaign


• In central Champaign repaired a garage, changed out entry door and added windows


• On University Ave in Champaign renovated master bath installing shower and spa

Commercial

• Renovations at Flex-n-Gate in one office and the computer clean room


• Changed out second floor windows in main office at Clifford-Jacobs Forge


• Built new production office inside production building Clifford-Jacobs Forge


• Renovated two large bathrooms in DSC group homes one in Rantoul and one in Urbana


• In downtown Champaign complete demolition of existing building interior and construction of Escobar’s Restaurant with loft apartment above


• In Champaign re-worked the main entry to the American Legion – new doors, intercom and electronic strike release


• Changed out the front entry to a church in Rantoul


• Currently converting a 28,000 downtown Champaign building using Green Building techniques and energy conservation into eleven apartments and 14,000 first floor commercial space
